Seranthony Dominguez Ready For Rehab Assignment
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies reliever Seranthony Dominguez (oblique) threw live batting practice on Monday and could begin a rehab assignment this weekend, according to MLB.com. The right-hander has been on the shelf since the middle of June after straining his left oblique. Across 27 innings this year, Dominguez owns a 4.33 ERA and 1.56 WHIP with 28 strikeouts and 11 walks. After saving nine games in 2022, he has zero this season, and it'll likely be the same story when he returns, probably by the end of the month. Dominguez has earned 10 holds, though, and should be a factor late in games moving forward.
