Seranthony Dominguez Goes Two Scoreless Innings In Defeat
6 years agoNow seemingly the No. 2 man in the bullpen pecking order with the Philadelphia Phillies, Seranthony Dominguez has not let the demotion hurt his performances on the mound. The rookie came on in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader against the New York Mets, entering the game in the eighth inning. The score was tied at three runs each and the 23-year-old would turn in two perfect innings, striking out one along the way to send the game into extra innings. Perhaps helping his case in the closer battle, Victor Arano, who replaced him as the ninth-inning man recently, took the loss in the tenth.
