Seranthony Dominguez Earns Two-Inning Save
Zach Eflin’s masterful performance against the New York Yankees on Wednesday night, manager Gabe Kapler wasted no time in going to his best reliever. Seeking to avoid a sweep, the skipper called for relief pitcher Seranthony Dominguez to close out the game with a two-inning appearance. The 23-year-old, who took a loss against the Nationals his last time out, was much better this time around, striking out three in his perfect performance. He was rewarded with a save, his fifth of the season. Dominguez now has 34 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings of work and is the best fantasy option for saves in this bullpen as of now.
