Seranthony Dominguez Earns Seventh Save Of Season Tuesday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies relief pitcher Seranthony Dominguez picked up his seventh save of the season in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Marlins. Dominguez came in to pitch the ninth inning up by three. The leadoff hitter reached on an error, but Dominguez then got a groundball double play and got the final out on a strikeout. The 27-year-old has seen save opportunities for the Phillies at times this season and has pitched well, converting all but one with a 1.56 ERA. However, the Phillies also recently traded for David Robertson, who pitched the eighth inning of this game but should also see save opportunities down the stretch. The lack of certainty may be frustrating for fantasy managers, but both are worth rostering in roto leagues at this time.
