6 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov will be between the pipes on Friday night against the St. Louis Blues. Varlamov was stellar in his last performance on Tuesday, allowing two goals on 38 shots during a 3-2 win over the Nashville Predators. Varlamov now has a 9-5-2 record to go along with a 2.32 goals-against average and .927 save percentage. Varlamov is hard to trust from season to season, but he has been fantastic to begin the 2018-19 campaign. The Blues come into this contest averaging 2.3 goals per game over their past six appearances. Varlamov is a must-start for Friday's slate.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
