5 months agoChicago Cubs outfielder/designated hitter Seiya Suzuki had a nice game at the plate in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies. Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a single, a three-run home run, and two strikeouts. The 29-year-old made things interesting late, crushing a ninth-inning Jose Ruiz fastball into the center-field seats to bring the Cubs within two. Suzuki has provided solid overall fantasy value this season, slashing .262/.332/.468 with 11 HR, 32 runs scored, 34 RBI, and seven stolen bases in 262 plate appearances. He has missed some time on the injured list with a right oblique strain, but he should continue to be a solid fantasy option if he can stay in the lineup.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
