Seiya Suzuki Goes Yard On Wednesday
3 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki recorded his first home run of Spring Training in Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. It was a long home run over left-center field and it came off of Mariners starter Marco Gonzales. Suzuki had gone hitless over his first three spring games prior to Wednesday's outing. He is now 1-for-9 with a walk and five strikeouts this spring. The 27-year-old was an offensive standout in the NPB and he has the potential to be a dominant hitter in the MLB as well. Keep him on your radar in the mid-rounds of drafts if you need a sleeper outfielder.
