Sean Walker Could Net Flyers A First-Round Pick
11 months agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Sean Walker could fetch as much as a first-round pick in a trade this season, according to TSN's Darren Dreger. "You look at Sean Walker of the Philadelphia Flyers, he's a really strong right-shot defenseman, the Flyers love him, but it's expected they can command as much as a first-round draft pick for him," Dreger said on TSN's Insider Trading. Walker is in the midst of a fine season that has seen him contribute 11 points, 54 shots, 31 hits, 39 blocks, and a plus-seven rating across 26 games in his first season in Philadelphia. He is already just two points shy of matching his production across 70 games with the Kings last season. However, with the Flyers currently sitting second in the Metropolitan Division, a trade of a valuable asset such as Walker is likely not imminent.
