Sean Reid-Foley Lasts Two Innings In Season Debut
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Sean Reid-Foley went two innings, allowing five runs (three earned) on four hits during a 6-5 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night. He struck out three batters while walking two. It was an ugly 2019 debut for the 23-year-old, as none of his pitches looked particularly sharp. Reid-Foley went 2-4 in 2018 with a 5.13 ERA and 1.56 WHIP. He is a fantasy afterthought, as he has never shown much promise at the big-league level. He might stick in the rotation for a while with Clayton Richard on the injured list, however.
