4 years agoThe Sean O'Malley hype train has come to a screeching stop, at least for now. At some point in the first round on Saturday, O'Malley tweaked his knee while moving around in the center of the cage. His opponent, Marlon Vera, pounced right away and walked away with the TKO victory, which many contest was a quick stoppage. The unknown factor is how bad is O'Malley injury? This is not his first time blowing out his leg in the Octagon, as he did so in his bout with Andre Soukhamthath in March of 2018. It took two years for O'Malley to return to action. Hopefully, it's a minor injury and it won't be another two-year break for O'Malley.--Matt Bricker
