6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Sean Newcomb went 4 1/3 innings on Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits in a 5-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox. He also issued five walks. Newcomb has really struggled as of late which is evidenced by an 8.15 ERA through his past five starts. The 25-year-old had a strong start to the season, but simply cannot be trusted on the mound at this point. It might be time to drop Newcomb in mixed leagues with 12 teams or less.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
