6 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Sean Newcomb was lit up for six runs on eight hits against the Tampa Bays Rays on Wednesday night. He only lasted four innings, registering seven strikeouts while walking two. Newcomb has allowed five or more runs in three of his last four starts, which has seen his ERA rise from 3.15 to 3.85 in the span of a couple weeks. He simply does not have the same stuff that fantasy owners were getting through the first few months of the season. His next matchup will come at home against the fearsome Boston Red Sox which means he should probably be left on the fantasy bench.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
