Sean Mannion Unspectacular In Defeat
5 years agoMinnesota Vikings quarterback Sean Mannion was 12-for-21 passing for 126 yards and two interceptions in a 21-19 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 17. Mannion, making his second career start, wasn't asked to do much as the Vikings employed a run-heavy scheme with Mike Boone and Ameer Abdullah. His two interceptions, subpar completion rate, and 6.0 yards per attempt predictably led to a terrible fantasy outing for the fifth-year quarterback out of Oregon State. Mannion will head back to the bench as Kirk Cousins resumes his post for next week's Wild Card game.
