Sean Manaea Holds Reds To One Run Over Six Innings
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Sean Manaea helped lead the team to a 4-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday. He pitched six innings and allowed six hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out six. He earned the win to improve to 2-1 on the season. The 30-year-old is off to a fantastic start to his Padres career. He's recorded quality starts in each of his first three outings while pitching to a 1.42 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP. He'll look to stay hot in his next trip to the mound, which will be on Sunday against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
