5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Sean Culkin received some high praise this week from star quarterback Philip Rivers. The likely third-string TE was singled out by Rivers for his willingness and ability to do anything on the field. Rivers told reporters, "[Culkin] just plays hard in whatever you need him to do. You want me to motion over and block an end? You want me to run a route? He's really had a nice offseason and a nice training camp." Culkin has made a living doing the dirty work as the extra body on the field most of the time, but with budding star Hunter Henry coming back from injury this year, Culkin's likely going to specialize in even more of the scut work.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
