Sean Bouchard Leaves Game With Injury
2 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Sean Bouchard (arm) exited Wednesday's game due to a biceps injury. Bouchard was removed in the first inning after experiencing pain in his left bicep during an at-bat. The Rockies are hoping that it is not a concerning matter, and he should return to the lineup soon. The 26-year-old spent four seasons in the Rockies system before getting promoted in 2022 for 27 games. He made 97 plate appearances and slashed .297/.454/.500 with a 157 OPS+. He also hit three home runs and drove in 11 runs. The San Diego native has already shown maturity as a hitter in the big leagues, which is simply a carryover from his success in the minors. Bouchard amassed a 1.038 OPS with Triple-A Albuquerque before being promoted to the big leagues. He could be an under-the-radar option in the outfield if his bat continues to contribute.
