Seahawks Think Kenny McIntosh Is Special
2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks took rookie running back Kenny McIntosh in the seventh round of this year's NFL draft, but head coach Pete Carroll thinks McIntosh "easily" could have been taken in the third round. Carroll called the running back room "really together" and also said that Kenneth Walker III has had a "fantastic" offseason and is ready to be more versatile in 2023. Walker is expected to lead Seattle's backfield this year, but McIntosh and fellow rookie Zach Charbonnet are worth watching in what could become a frustrating timeshare that also involved DeeJay Dallas. The 23-year-old McIntosh led Georgia in rushing yards (829) and receptions (43) in 2022. He could carve out a role on third downs, but he'll mostly be a flier in dynasty/keeper leagues in his rookie season.
