Seahawks Not Interested In Trading Russell Wilson
4 years agoA couple of teams have called the Seattle Seahawks to inquire about quarterback Russell Wilson's availability, but there's no chance that the Seahawks will deal their star quarterback. Wilson and the Seattle offense stalled in the second half of the 2020 season after a scorching-hot start in which Wilson was the MVP front-runner. The 32-year-old also struggled in the wild-card loss to the division-rival Rams in the playoffs, completing just 40.7 percent of his passes against the No. 1 defense in the league. The seven-time Pro Bowler finished the regular season with 4,212 yards, a career-high 68.8 completion percentage, a career-high 40 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also added 513 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. While Wilson and the offense struggled to finish the season, they're expected to be more balanced and possibly even more explosive in 2021. He'll remain a high-end QB1.
