Seahawks Hope To Have Rashaad Penny Practice Thursday
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that the team hopes to have running back Rashaad Penny (hamstring) back at practice on Thursday after he was inactive in the Week 3 loss to the Saints. Penny initially hurt himself in practice on Friday, but it doesn't sound like a serious injury. Chris Carson was the clear lead back on Sunday with 15 carries to C.J. Prosise's four. Penny will continue to be the change-of-pace back behind Carson when he returns, giving him limited upside as an RB3/flex in PPR leagues. Week 4's matchup with the Cardinals gives Penny some breakout appeal, though, if he can return.
