Scott Schebler Ends Power Drought With Two-Run Blast
6 years agoCincinnati Reds right fielder Scott Schebler went 2-for-4 with a single, a two-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's win over the Diamondbacks. Schebler put his team ahead in the sixth inning with a massive shot to right field off Patrick Corbin. The 27-year-old's sixth HR of the season ended a streak of 13 games without an extra-base hit. Schebler now has a .244 batting average on the season with a .327 on-base percentage and a .415 slugging percentage. He faces a favorable matchup next series against the Padres, so hopefully he can continue to get things going.
