Scott Sabourin Scores First Career Goal
5 years agoOttawa Senators forward Scott Sabourin made sure to remind Auston Matthews who he was, scoring his first career goal in a 5-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Sabourin and Matthews made headlines after a scrum in their preseason matchup, and fittingly the two combined for three of the eight goals in tonight's game. Sabourin's offensive output shouldn't be something you get accustomed to, as he will most likely prove to be a fourth-liner at best, known more for his enforcer-like antics rather than his offensive prowess. Bobby Ryan and Brady Tkachuk rounded out the scoring for the Senators.
