Scott Perunovich Earns One-Year Extension From Blues
6 months agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Scott Perunovich has agreed to a one-year extension with the team. It's a one-way deal worth $1.15 million. Perunovich is coming off a one-year contract that paid him $775,000 and was a pending restricted free agent. The 25-year-old made 54 appearances for the Blues in 2023-24, collecting 17 points, all of which came via assists. He also recorded 53 blocks and 30 hits. Perunovich, who won the Hobey Baker Award in 2020 as the top college player in the country, has yet to score in 73 career games in the NHL. But he has proven himself as a skillful player on the blue line and could be ready to take a big step forward in 2024-25 if he can remain healthy.
