Saquon Barkley Scores Through The Passing Game
1 year agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley rushed the ball 21 times for 77 yards and snagged three passes for 41 yards and a touchdown in the team's 14-7 victory over the Washington Commanders. Barkley couldn't find much running room behind a makeshift offensive line but took a 32-yard pass to the house in the second quarter. His score and Darren Waller's touchdown earlier in the quarter are the Giants' only first-half offensive touchdowns of the season. Barkley remains the workhorse of the New York backfield and will be an RB1 against the New York Jets in Week 8.
