Saquon Barkley Returns From Injury In Sloppy Loss
5 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley returned to action in Sunday's loss after missing three games with a sprained ankle. He rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries while recording eight yards on three catches. It was a rainy game with an incredibly slick field, and Barkley had his injured ankle checked out twice, so the Giants are frankly lucky that he came out of this game healthy. Given the conditions, it's hard to judge just how fully healed Barkley is but he's clearly still going to be a major asset in the Giants offense and is back to being a must-start.
