Saquon Barkley Plans On Playing Sunday
2 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley, when asked about his status for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, said: "I'm playing… unless Dabes tells me differently, I'm playing." That's all well and good, but there remains a strong chance that head coach Brian Daboll sits Barkley and many of the other starters down in a Week 18 game that has zero meaning in terms of playoff seeding for the G-Men. If you're playing for a fantasy championship this weekend and have had Barkley in your starting lineups all season, you may be extremely disappointed if you end up leaving him in there. Even if Barkley "starts" the game, expect to see a lot of backups Matt Breida and Gary Brightwell against Philly.
