1 year agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley had a relatively quiet start to training camp, but he was heavily involved in practice on Tuesday and caught a pair of passes that would have been big plays. Head coach Brian Daboll said several days ago that Barkley looked like "normal Saquon," which means strong, fast and explosive. The 26-year-old reworked his contract for the 2023 season and reported to camp, which was great news for his fantasy value as a top-five RB1 without the threat of a regular-season holdout. Injuries have been an issue for Barkley in the past, but as long as he remains healthy, he'll be the focal point of New York's offense yet again. Barkley averaged a career-high 18.4 carries per game in 2022 and should once again be a workhorse.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
