Saquon Barkley Logs 10 Carries For 26 Yards In Return
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) rushed for 26 yards on 10 attempts while catching one of three targets for one yard during Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Denver Broncos. He returned to action Sunday for the first time since tearing his ACL and MCL back in Week 2 of the 2020 season. The former first-rounder looked healthy and logged 47% of the team's offensive snaps. Barkley was expected to be on a pitch count in his first game back, and fantasy managers can expect his workload to increase as the regular season wears on. The 24-year-old is a borderline RB1 in a tough matchup next week against a stout Washington Football defense.
