1 year agoMemphis Grizzlies forward Santi Aldama (ankle) won't make his season debut on Saturday in Washington. The 22-year-old averaged 9.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 2022-23 and is predicted to see plenty of minutes for Memphis this season, considering the team is without Steven Adams (knee) and Brandon Clarke (Achilles). However, with the emergence of Xavier Tillman Sr., Aldama isn't a lock to have the role most had envisioned he'd have entering the year. At any rate, his next chance to suit up will be on Monday against the Mavericks, although he may miss a few more games moving forward.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
