4 years agoThe Miami Marlins called up catcher Sandy Leon from their Alternate Training Site on Wednesday morning. With Jorge Alfaro (hamstring) being placed on the 10-day injured list, the Marlins needed to add a catcher to their active roster. Leon will go right into the starting lineup, batting eighth and catching rookie pitcher Trevor Rogers in Wednesday's afternoon game. Leon had one solid offensive season, back in 2016. He doesn't need to be rostered in the vast majority of fantasy formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
