Sandy Alcantara Throws Six Good Innings On Tuesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara was solid on Tuesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, picking up a quality start. Alcantara went six innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk while striking out six. He lowered his ERA to 2.95 but did not factor into the decision since the Marlins did not take the lead for good until the eighth inning. Alcantara will go into his next start looking for a win to even his record which currently stands at 1-2. He'll face the Milwaukee Brewers next.
