2 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara (biceps) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Monday and is scheduled to start Wednesday's game at the Braves. Alcantara has been dealing with mild right biceps tendinitis since his last start on April 16. Hopefully, the 2022 National League Cy Young winner will be fully healthy, as he has not gotten off to the start fantasy managers had hoped for. Alcantara has posted a 5.47 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 19.8% strikeout rate through his first four starts. Not feeling 100% may explain his poor early results.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
