Sandy Alcantara Notches A Win And A Quality Start
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara pitched well in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Washington Nationals. He earned the win by tossing six innings, allowing just one run on five hits and two walks while striking out four. Alcantara improved to 3-2 and lowered his ERA to 3.12. He'll likely get one more start this regular season, which looks like it will line up to be against the New York Yankees.
