Sandy Alcantara Dealing With Biceps Tendinitis
2 years agoMiami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara (biceps) was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday against the Guardians due to biceps tendinitis. He is expected to be available for his next scheduled start on against the Atlanta Braves next week. The 27-year-old is expected to avoid the injured list and will miss one start. Alcantara owns a 5.47 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 20:6 K: BB across 24 2/3 innings in 2023. The Marlins' ace will look to turn things around against the Braves in his next start. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with Alcantara despite his disappointing start in 2023.
