Sandy Alcantara Bounces Back With A Quality Start
3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara pitched well in Thursday's win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Coming off the worst start of his life last week against the Dodgers, Alcantara looked much better on Thursday, pitching six scoreless innings. He allowed just two hits and struck out nine while walking three. Alcantara needed 100 pitches to get his six innings done, but he improved to 2-3 and lowered his ERA to 3.63. Last week's start was almost certainly the low point of Alcantara's season, and fantasy managers can expect starts a lot more similar to this one from now on.
