On Wednesday night, the San Jose Sharks secured their trip to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs with a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 4. This game was much tighter than Game 3 and the only two players to find goals were Marcus Sorensen and Tomas Hertl. The real story here is Martin Jones, who made 30 saves on 31 shots, many of them being outstanding saves on Corey Perry, who had five good looks. Jones is definitely getting some well-deserved rest until Round 2 against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Sharks are gearing up for what should be a fantastic series. This will be a matchup of the goaltenders, as Jones only gave up four goals to the Anaheim Ducks and Marc-Andre Fleury only let in three during their series with the LA Kings. Look forward to another electric round of playoff hockey.--Anthony VattimoRead More News
