The San Jose Sharks have earned their spot in the postseason on their night off when the LA Kings beat the Colorado Avalanche. This was expected, as the Sharks jumped out to a secure points lead with their recent eight-game winning streak. It is unsure who they will be playing in the first round, but what everybody wants to know is will Joe Thornton be ready to return for the playoffs? He skated through a short practice Monday but is not expected to play in any of the last three remaining regular season games for San Jose. They are sitting in a good spot coming into the playoffs with the addition of Evander Kane, and they've won 11 games since acquiring him. It's shaping up to be an exciting postseason with a lot of possibility for San Jose.--Anthony VattimoRead More News
