6 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins saw less targets than his teammate, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, in the Chiefs first preseason game against the Texans. This should most certainly be taken with a grain of salt as the first team offense was on the field for just nine snaps in Thursday's preseason opener. Watkins has reportedly shown early chemistry with his new quarterback Patrick Mahomes as the team invested heavily in the big-play wide receiver this offseason, and will also look to put his dynamic skill set to use. Take full advantage of Watkins slipping to the middle rounds of your fantasy drafts as Mahomes will look to target him downfield early and often, providing standard and PPR league appeal.--Justin Friel
