Sammy Watkins on Monday, according to sources. Watkins will go on waivers and will surely attract some interest around the league. With rookie
Romeo Doubs (ankle) returning from an extended absence on Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams, Watkins became the odd man out in the receiving room in Green Bay. The former first-round pick has played a grand total of 11 offensive snaps in the last two games and hasn't caught a pass since Week 10 against Dallas. On the year, Watkins has just 13 receptions for 206 yards and no touchdowns on 22 targets over nine games played. He belongs firmly on the waiver wire and is unlikely to find his way into a substantial role with another team to close out the 2022 season.

Per Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, the veteran wide receiver is dealing with some "bumps and bruises." The 29-year-old has been quiet since returning from the injured reserve in Week 7. He has four catches on 10 targets for 48 yards over three games. If active, Watkins will have an expanded role with
