Reinhart has scored over 80 goals across the last two NHL campaigns but focused on playmaking in Monday's game, picking up all of his points via assists. The Panthers forward produced a big performance after having gone scoreless with a minus-two rating in the first two contests in the tournament. He joined Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon on the first line, and the trio combined for seven points (three goals, four assists). Reinhart, who was riding a six-game point streak with the Panthers before the 4 Nations Face-Off began, could make a significant impact again if the line sticks together for Thursday's championship game against the U.S.

3 months agoFlorida Panthers right wing Sam Reinhart scored twice during their loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday evening. Reinhart opened the scoring with a shorthanded tally in the first period. Later in the third, Reinhart would strike again on special teams, this time on the power-play. This was Reinhart's second-straight multi-goal showing and third-straight game, tallying at least one goal. During this span, Reinhart has averaged five shots on goal per game and logged at least one blocked shot per game. Overall, the 29-year-old has tallied 51 points (27 goals, 24 helpers) across 44 games this season. Reinhart will look to extend his goal streak to four games on Tuesday evening against the New Jersey Devils.

4 months agoFlorida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart added to his points tally in an 11th consecutive game on Tuesday, scoring a power-play goal in a 6-3 defeat to Winnipeg. Reinhart started his streak on Oct. 24 and has totaled nine goals and eight assists during the prolific spell. He's become the second player in franchise history with multiple point streaks of at least 11 games, joining Pavel Bure. The 29-year-old forward has proven that the 94-point campaign he had last season wasn't a fluke. Reinhart leads the Panthers through 19 games with 14 goals and 29 points while being tied for the most assists with 15.

6 months agoFlorida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart bagged a game-high three points as the reigning Stanley Cup champions battled out a 4-3 road win against Columbus on Tuesday. He did the damage with a goal and two assists, scoring all the points during even-strength play. Reinhart had a special year in 2023-24 and looks ready to better it this season. He's enjoyed a very fruitful beginning to the campaign, recording four goals and four assists in five games. Sitting on eight points, Reinhart is tied for the league lead for scoring with Vegas duo Jack Eichel and Mark Stone. The Panthers forward will be let loose next against a Vancouver team that has been very leaking early in the season, allowing 4.00 goals per game.
