Sam Reinhart Adds Two More Goals Thursday
9 months agoFlorida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart scored two goals as part of his team's 4-3 shootout victory over the visiting Montreal Canadiens on Thursday. The pair of tallies gave the veteran 41 goals on the season, good for second in the NHL behind the Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews who netted his 53rd goal of the season on Thursday. Additionally, Reinhart leads the league with 23 power-play goals after he tallied a second-period power-play marker on Thursday while his second goal of the game was his fifth short-handed goal of the season, tied for most in the league. All told, the 28-year-old is enjoying a career year with his 41 tallies alongside 71 points and a plus-18 rating across 60 games played for the first-place Panthers.
