1 year agoDetroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta will begin his NFL career on Thursday night against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. While tight ends usually take time to develop, he could be an early favorite target of Jared Goff. Amon-Ra St. Brown should dominate the team's target share, but LaPorta just has to compete with Josh Reynolds, Marvin Jones Jr., Khalif Raymond, and Jahmyr Gibbs for targets otherwise.
