1 year agoAfter a great game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8, Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell could continue his strong play in Week 9. This week, Washington is facing the New England Patriots, a team that has struggled mightily this year. Considering the second-year quarterback torched Philadelphia's defense last week, he should have no problem with New England's hobbled unit. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has a reputation for making young quarterbacks look foolish, but this roster isn't close to what New England has had in the past.
