Sam Ehlinger Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 18 Start
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Sam Ehlinger finished their Week 18 game against the Houston Texans with 23 completions for 209 yards and two touchdowns. In the first quarter, he found receiver Michael Pittman Jr. via a one-yard pass to put the Colts on the board. The former Texas standout also connected with tight end Mo Alie-Cox to gain the lead in the fourth quarter. However, he also threw two interceptions, including one converted into a 39-yard touchdown return by Jonathan Greenard. The former sixth-round draft pick also had five carries for 21 yards. He is still looking for his victory as an NFL starter, a result that has evaded him after three tries. Ehlinger completed 63.4 percent of his throws in four games this year for 573 yards, three touchdowns and three picks. His fate in 2023 will heavily rely on what the Colts want to do at his position.
