Sam Ehlinger Throws For 60 Yards In Blowout Loss
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Sam Ehlinger took over for Nick Foles (ribs) when the latter exited their Week 17 game against the New York Giants in the second quarter after a sack by Kayvon Thibodeaux. However, Ehlinger wasn't much of a help for the struggling Colts. While he went 9-for-14 in passes, he only gained 60 yards for an average of 4.3 per completion. The 24-year-old added 12 rushing yards on one attempt. However, Ehlinger did complete the Colts' only touchdown in the 38-10 blowout when he found Michael Pittman Jr. in the end zone for a six-yard pass. It remains to be seen if Foles or Ehlinger will be starting for Indianapolis in their season-ender against the Houston Texans next week. But either way, it's best to stay away from both players when looking for a quarterback for your fantasy roster.
