Sam Ehlinger Brutal In Week 9 Blowout Loss
Sam Ehlinger completed 15 of 29 passes for 103 yards and zero touchdowns while adding an interception in the Week 9 loss to the New England Patriots. This one never seemed close, as New England's defense dominated from start to finish, holding the Colts offense to just 121 yards. Ehlinger hasn't looked any better than Matt Ryan, so there could potentially be a decision made when Ryan's shoulder heals. The only thing Ehlinger provides that Ryan doesn't is his rushing ability. Ehlinger remains off of the fantasy radar in even the deepest of leagues in a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders next week.

Sam Ehlinger Leads Colts Passing In Loss
Sam Ehlinger completed five of his six passes for 80 yards in the team's loss, his only incompletion resulting in an interception. The Colts played five quarterbacks in Sunday's contest, with Ehlinger playing behind Richardson and Flacco, solidifying his spot as the QB3 in this offense. The former Longhorn will compete with Kedon Slovis and Jason Bean for the role, and all three will be off the fantasy radar heading into the 2024 season.

Sam Ehlinger Throws Two Touchdowns In Week 18 Start
Sam Ehlinger finished their Week 18 game against the Houston Texans with 23 completions for 209 yards and two touchdowns. In the first quarter, he found receiver Michael Pittman Jr. via a one-yard pass to put the Colts on the board. The former Texas standout also connected with tight end Mo Alie-Cox to gain the lead in the fourth quarter. However, he also threw two interceptions, including one converted into a 39-yard touchdown return by Jonathan Greenard. The former sixth-round draft pick also had five carries for 21 yards. He is still looking for his victory as an NFL starter, a result that has evaded him after three tries. Ehlinger completed 63.4 percent of his throws in four games this year for 573 yards, three touchdowns and three picks. His fate in 2023 will heavily rely on what the Colts want to do at his position.

Sam Ehlinger Unlikely To Deliver In Week 18
Sam Ehlinger will start in Week 18 against the Houston Texans. The second-year player from Texas was declared the starter after Nick Foles was ruled out due to a rib injury in Week 17 after getting sacked by New York Giants outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux. The sixth-round selection in the 2021 draft completed his first NFL touchdown pass when he found Michael Pittman Jr. for a six-yard score in last week's blowout loss. He also finished with a 64 percent completion percentage for 60 yards. While that throw could boost his confidence coming into their season finale, the Texans are sneaky good in pass defense. They surrender the fourth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers at 27.51 points per game and the second-fewest to quarterbacks at 12.76. These numbers indicate there should be better options than Ehlinger for your fantasy lineups.

Sam Ehlinger To Start Against Texans, Nick Foles Ruled Out
Nick Foles (ribs) will not play against the Houston Texans in Week 18. Interim head coach Jeff Saturday said Foles is still sore after taking a brutal hit against the New York Giants in the Week 17 loss. Sam Ehlinger will make his third start of the season, with Matt Ryan serving as his backup. Ehlinger has completed 41 of his 66 passing attempts for 364 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He remains off the fantasy radar in single-QB leagues in Week 18.
