2 years agoIn his first start of the season, Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold completed 11 of 19 pass attempts for 164 yards and one touchdown in a 23-10 victory over the Denver Broncos. Despite a tough matchup, Darnold got the job done and displayed pre-existing chemistry with DJ Moore, who was on the receiving end of a five-yard score in the first quarter. The Panthers could choose to go back to PJ Walker (ankle) when healthy, but for the time being, Darnold seems like an upgrade for Carolina's offensive weapons. The team will head into a Week 13 bye before returning to a matchup with the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
