Sam Burns In Top Form Ahead of Kapalua
3 days agoSam Burns should be feeling very confident in his game as he heads to Hawaii. The 21-year-old Tour star finished inside of the top-15 in his last five starts, including a T14 in his most recent start at the Hero World Challenge in early December. His record at Kapalua includes a T19 in 2022, 32nd in 2023, and T33 last year, but all signs point to a reversal of fortunes this year. Over the last 36 rounds, Burns ranks sixth in total driving, 16th on approach from the crucial 100-125 yard proximity, eighth in opportunities gained, first in birdie or better percentage, and third in Bermuda putting. Fantasy managers should roster Burns with confidence this week in what has historically been a low-scoring affair that rewards elite putters.
