1 day agoSam Burns has started 2025 strong with finishes of T8 and T29 to kick off the season. Over those events, he's gained 7.34 strokes putting, the 10th-best mark on tour this season. These results have also extended his top-30 finish streak to seven tournaments. Burns' biggest struggle tends to be with his second shot, as he ranks 130th on tour in strokes gained on approach. This will be especially important at Pebble Beach, where 37.6% of all approach shots come from 100-150 yards out. From that range, however, Burns performs well, ranking in the 92nd percentile over the past two years. He's also played Pebble Beach twice, finishing in 10th in 2024 and T39 in 2021. If Burns can maintain his putting form, he should remain a solid play this week at Pebble Beach.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
