Sam Burns A Dangerously Good Choice For Masters
3 years agoSam Burns checks off quite a few of the boxes for Augusta. He can drive the ball with length and some accuracy (310 off the tee). He hits greens at nearly 71% accuracy and his drives at greater than 60%. He ranks seventh in birdie average at 4.68. Burns putts pretty well too. Add in his top-ten work from tee-to-green and one can see why he is a chic choice. Burns, after struggling for several weeks, has the momentum rolling. He contended at the Arnold Palmer and The Players then won the Valspar last week. After winning two titles last year, Burns is a young gun who can make a big Masters impact.
