Salvador Perez Slashing .283/.327/.609 In June
2 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez has been heating up at the plate over the past few weeks. Across 13 games in June, he has slashed .283/.327/.609 with three home runs, four doubles, 13 RBI and eight runs. The recent hot stretch has increased his season-long slash line to .213/.250/.416 and he now has nine home runs and 30 RBI over 51 games on the year. Perez has an xSLG of .507 so far this month, a massive increase from his .344 xSLG in May. The 32-year-old still isn't displaying any of the gaudy underlying metrics that led to his historic 2021 campaign, but he looks well on his way to at least being one of the most valuable catchers in fantasy once again.
